I've Been Jingled!!

 I have been jingled by my friend, Karen over at Baking In A Tornado.

Wait, what? You heard me. Jingled. Get your mind outta the gutter folks. She chose me (along with a few others) to write about in this chain-letter style post. I am flattered and honored.

Because she is super duper sweet, she changed the rules and left it up to us whether or not we want to play along. Based on what she had to say about me, I think my decision is pretty predictible.

1. Full Metal Mommy
     This lady has been my friend since the dark ages. Over the years she has become one of my closest friends. I adore her. To only say two things seems like a punishment. She is an incredible mom. The love she has for her boys is palatable. She also is an amazing writer. There is a direct line from her heart to her keyboard and she shares it freely. She is one of the funniest women I know. She is also supper supportive of my insanity, which is no small feat. I might just hate her if I didn't love her so much.

2. Mommy Needs Wine Not Wine
     My soul sister. Something clicked the day we found each other in the blogesphere. She posted about ordering a Sarah costume (from Labyrinth, like I needed to specify...) and I knew instantly that we would be friends. She has the best sense of humor. No matter how down i feel I know I can count on her to make me laugh. She also has a heart of gold and is the first to comfort/console/grab a bat and attack whomever is causing me pain. She is the twin I never had.

3. Flaws and All
     This lady is the best. She'll go out of her way to make sure her friends are cared for and loved. She is a fierce momma with an amazing brood of little boys. She lives and loves big. She also has the best soft side of anyone I know and has an innate ability to tell when you need that or her wicked sense of humor. She is one of my closest friends and I absolutely adore her.

4. More Than Cheese and Beer
     As I get to know this fantabulous blogger, I adore her more. She is funny as hell and a great listener. She has single-handedly pushed me (whether she knows it or not) to conquer some of my biggest fears. She challenges me to be a better writer. I am in awe of her honesty and ability to put up with a whole gaggle of momma bears. I am so happy I have gotten to know my mid-western cheesey friend.

And because i have never been good at following directions....

5. Baking In A Tornado
     I am so so so happy I "met" Karen. She has some of the best ideas to challenge her fellow bloggers with. Month after month my writing gets better and it is due in part to those challenges. Her enthusiasm and support are unwavering. She is funny and a talented writer. This lady has it going on.

Now, enough about them, let's talk about me....

1. I am a giver. I would rather give then receive. Sure, I love getting presents (who doesn't???) but if I had to choose, I choose giving. Seeing a person be surprised and/or happy is one of my most favorite things ever.

2. I am fiercely loyal and love big. I don't let people in easily, but when I do, I will bend over backwards for them.

3. I am a good wife and mom. At least that is what my family tells me. I believe them. I may not be perfect but I try damn hard. Plus I love them so big that it has to count for something.

4. I try to be a good, kind person. Until I (or someone I love, see #2) is crossed. Then, I may not be so nice.
